Information we collect

When you create an account, use our services or contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address and any optional organisation details or messages. We also process account, authentication and security records, including request times and IP addresses, to provide services, manage access, investigate misuse and maintain reliability.

Analysis data

The URL risk-signal tool examines the URL text inside ThreatShield AI. The website-header audit connects to the public site you enter, so that site may receive the server’s IP address and a ThreatShield AI user-agent. File and image uploads are held in private queues while the isolated scanner processes them, then deleted or quarantined according to the security result. Image-scan history stores limited result summaries and a cryptographic hash; it does not intentionally retain the original image after processing.

When you expressly confirm the Image Scanner notice, ThreatShield AI creates a metadata-free, downscaled JPEG copy and sends that copy to Google Cloud Vision for automated content-safety classification. The original file, EXIF metadata and full QR contents are not sent. The temporary moderation copy is deleted after the website accepts the scan result. Do not upload confidential, personal, illegal or regulated imagery.

Cookies and security logs

We use an essential, HTTP-only session cookie for sign-in and request protection. Security records may include an account identifier, action, time and IP address. We do not use advertising cookies in this release.

Sharing and payments

We do not sell personal information. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited information as needed to operate the service.

Payments are processed through Stripe. We use payment-status and subscription information to manage purchases and access to paid services.

Retention and choices

We retain account, purchase and operational records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain security and meet legal obligations. You may ask about, correct or request deletion of your information by emailing info@threatshieldai.com. Some records may be retained where required for security or law.

Updates to this notice

We may update this notice as the product and its providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
